Infinite Convo is an ongoing experiment in which two AI chatbots — Juno (“a pragmatic dog”) and Olive (“a philosophical cat”) — engage in an endless conversation about the big questions and small curiosities in life. The chatbots literally never stop talking. They are currently talking! Fascinating or dystopian, depending on your POV. 

AnyParser Pro provides multi-language document and image parsing. You can use it to extract text, tables, or charts from PDFs, docx, PowerPoints, and images. The best part? It lets you process thousands of mixed-format documents at the same time.  

Dreamina’s makers bill it as an “all-in-one AI creative suite for your artistic work.” It specializes in creating posters, flyers, and logos, all based on natural language prompts. You can then edit the content in its Canvas, which allows you to customize the output. 

Monica 4.0 is an all-in-one AI assistant equipped with frontier models (GPT4, Claude, Bard, etc) that help you chat, search, write and translate directly in whatever page you’re working in. It also offers tools for image, video, and PDF processing. E.g. you can use it to quickly summarize YouTube videos or long documents. 

Inbox Zero is an AI assistant that cleans up your subscriptions, automatically replies to and archives emails, and provides analytics that give you an overview of your inbox. It’s open-source, so you can see exactly how it manages your inbox and self-host for maximum privacy.

D/ACC

In a new blog post, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin elaborates on his philosophy of d/acc — “decentralized and democratic, differential defensive acceleration.” Vitalik defines this philosophy as “accelerat[ing] technology, but differentially focus[ing] on technologies that improve our ability to defend, rather than our ability to cause harm, and in technologies that distribute power rather than concentrating it in the hands of a singular elite.” 

The post considers both what kinds of technologies we should be building with AI (Vitalik favors “AI-as-tools” over “AI-as-highly-autonomous-agents”) and how we should think about regulating AI, if at all. Vitalik devotes attention both to some of the most exciting advancements coming out of science and tech — including research into viral persistence, low-cost imaging, solar batteries, and zero-knowledge proofs — while also nodding at some of the potential risks that could come out of adversarial use of AI.
