Plus, five AI tools you may have missed

WELCOME

Happy Tuesday, legends. Welcome back to another edition of The Frontier — our weekly newsletter covering the best new AI launches on Product Hunt. This week, we’ve got: a tool to custom-build AI agents, ChatGPT’s new task scheduling function, and a very special announcement — the Golden Kitty Awards (aka the Oscars of tech) are back! Let’s dive in.

DryMerge’s AI agents connect to your apps and automate tasks. You can describe your task in a chat and DryMerge will build a custom agent to automate it in the background.

Deepseek for iOS is the new app of the Chinese competitor challenging OpenAI’s o1 and Anthropic’s Claude. Powered by the DeepSeek-V3 model with over 600B parameters, this is a state-of-the-art LLM that stacks up well against other frontier models in benchmark tests.

ChatGPT Task lets you schedule tasks in ChatGPT. Whether it’s one-time reminders or recurring actions, you can tell ChatGPT what you need and when (e.g. “Practice German with me every morning”), and it will automatically take care of it.

Eververse is an AI-integrated product management platform that bills itself as an alternative to tools like Productboard and Cycle. You can use it to explore problems, ideate solutions, and prioritize features with your team.

Persana offers AI-powered GTM and voice agents to enhance your sales and marketing teams with 24/7 pipeline generation and enrichment. It lets you access 700M+ contacts and 300M+ companies, along with over 75+ data providers, to increase your revenue with digital workers.

THE BIG IDEA

The Oscars of tech

What do Notion, Tesla, OpenAI, and Apple have in common? They’ve all claimed a Golden Kitty Award—and 2024’s winners are about to join the club.

The Golden Kitty Awards are back, spotlighting the year’s most innovative products, visionary makers, and standout creations. But the best part? You help decide who wins.

This isn’t just about a trophy (although, let’s be honest, it’s a pretty great one). Winning a Golden Kitty can be a game-changer for creators. Cem Kozinoglu, the maker of Slash keyboard, put it best: “We had something physical we could hold. It was very supportive.” Not long after, Slash was acquired by Giphy.

Here’s the lowdown: You can vote across 17 categories, from AI Hardware to AI copilots (and lots more), to crown the products that defined 2024. There’s also an honorary award—Maker of the Year—celebrating the person who embodied what it means to be a maker.

Voting runs from Monday, January 20th, through Sunday, January 26th, 11:59 PM PST. Winners will be announced soon after.

Who will get their name lit up in lights in the Golden Kitty Hall of Fame this year? That’s for you to decide.
